We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and expand our key accounts in the North Indiad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service to maximize sales and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Regularly meet with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives in Northern part of India.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute account plans to increase sales volume and market share.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to support the development of new products and services.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with key accounts to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Close sales deals and achieve targets set by the management.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify patterns and trends, and recommend actionable insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products to key accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or key account management in the FMCG industry or in the same field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and sales reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Knowing Hindi and other North Indian Languages would be a added advantage
