Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices using SAP Business One.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments for timely collection.
  • Record receipts, allocate payments, and reconcile customer accounts in SAP.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare aging reports and provide updates on receivables to management.

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders in SAP.
  • Manage payment schedules and process vendor payments (checks, bank transfers, etc.).
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable taxes (GST, TDS, VAT, etc.) during payment processing.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliations for AR and AP accounts to ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Provide AR/AP data for audits and assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoicing, payments, and reporting processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in AR/AP workflows using SAP Business One.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and payable, with hands-on experience in SAP Business One.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using SAP Business One modules for AR/AP and familiarity with its reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
