Business Operations Manager – Crypto Services

The Business Operations Manager in the crypto sector is pivotal in managing and optimizing the operations of crypto services. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role demands effective coordination with support functions like Finance and Accounting, and aligning operations with compliance standards. This manager is also tasked with internal training on crypto, strategic planning, and audit management, thereby ensuring informed decision-making and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities - Verbose:
Central Coordination and Oversight of Business Operations : Oversees day-to-day business activities related to the crypto offering. Focuses on streamlining operations, optimizing processes, and enhancing operational efficiency across the crypto service. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the crypto service operations. Interface with Support Functions and Departments : Acts as a key liaison between the crypto services and various support functions like Finance, Accounting, Dealing, Audit, Payment Ensures the needs of the crypto services are effectively communicated and supported by these departments. Engages in constructive dialogues with various departments to challenge and refine processes and strategies. Liaises with accounting and finance departments, integrating financial aspects of the crypto services into the company's financial framework. Interdepartmental Coordination with Key Support Teams Collaborates closely with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Operations, and Support Aligns Crypto Operations with Compliance Standards and Industry Best Practices, Facilitating Regular Dialogues to Tackle Operational Challenges Establishes first-line support knowledge for the crypto service offering. Cultivates Expertise within the Operations Team, Concentrating on Manual Operational Tasks. Evangelize, Educate and Train Internal Departments on Crypto : Champion and Promote Internal Awareness of the Crypto Service Offering Guarantee Regular Updates and Enhancements to the Internal FAQ and Knowledge Base, Focusing on Essential Information for Key Departments like FSR, Ops, and FCC Design and Implement Onboarding Training Programs for New Employees Strategic Planning and Reporting : Contributes to strategic planning for the crypto service, setting operational goals and benchmarks. Reports on operational performance for the crypto related activities, providing insights to guide decision-making. Audit Management : Collaborating on audit requests, covering the crypto related topics to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational best practices. Key Responsibilities - Short: Oversee day-to-day business activities, focusing on crypto services. Streamline operations, optimize processes, and enhance efficiency. Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the crypto service operations. Act as a liaison with support functions like Finance, Accounting, Dealing, Audit, and Payment. Coordinate with departments to ensure effective communication and support for the crypto service. Collaborate with key support teams including Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Operations, and Support. Align Crypto Operations with Compliance Standards and Industry Best Practices. Educate and train internal departments on crypto services. Contribute to strategic planning and set operational goals. Manage audits for the crypto service and ensure compliance with regulatory standardsRequirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in business operations, preferably in the crypto or financial services industry Proven track record in operational management and process optimization. Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and related regulatory environment. Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate teams. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective cross-departmental collaboration. Ability to develop strategic plans and make data-driven decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of compliance standards and risk management in the crypto industry.
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - SKCL Prime, Plot No-C46A, Cipet road, Fourth Floor, Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate, Alandur, Guindy, Chennai -032
