We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President II to join our Market Operations team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID/REMOTE.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Effective Oversight and management of the team engaged in daily monitoring of CFTC/EMIR/SFTR / MiFID transaction reporting and trade reporting exceptions and reviewing them and working on resolution of the key issues.
  • Mobilizing the team in Performing exception management of new type of breaks post changes to the regulatory rules to achieve efficient breaks and exception management.
  • Assisting the teams to  analyses the data lineage and trends of specific technology issues that is causing the reporting exception.
  • Creating JIRAs for specific tech teams to evaluate/assess the issues in reporting and working on prioritizing the JIRAS.
  • Collaborating with then various internal tech teams, QA testing teams to resolve the exceptions relating to instrument, client reference data. 
  • Perform user acceptance testing, setting up controls and processes, training teams on upcoming regulations by partnering with other SME;s in the business 
  • Scheduling the backlog replays of the trades by conducing the QA testing to avoid production impact and then resolving the outstanding breaks successfully, to comply with the regulator expectations.
  • Regulatory issues to be articulated clearly senior management and Compliance. Issues to be managed to closure - by IT fix, enhanced control or process improvement.
  • MIS to be published highlight the issue trending, actions to resolution dependencies, key constraints etc and ETA to remediation and host the respective Governance forums 
  • Identifying functional inefficiencies and making recommendations for process improvements by leveraging the suite of digital capabilities available

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 
  • 10-12 years of total work experience, financial industry experience preferred. Regulatory Reporting experience is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to identify key issues, to summarize them efficiently, and to escalate them in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships, confident communicating at all levels with key decision makers in the departments across locations.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure
