Position Title: Senior Learning and development Partner

Job Location: Bangalore, KA-India

Role Definition
Leads the design, implementation and support of staff development and career planning initiatives and practices.

Responsibilities
• Establishing and maintaining processes for assessing changing business needs for people and organizational development programs.
• Providing consulting services on design and development of large-scale or complex solutions for addressing professional skills gaps, leadership, and organizational development issues.
• Designing programs and solutions for global, multiple organization, or cross-functional learning and development initiatives which support business goals.
• Implementing programs with efficient use of resources, including negotiating with vendors and adopting technology solutions, to achieve learning goals and business outcomes.
• Evaluating new and existing curriculum/learning solutions, including pilot and experimental programs, and recommending appropriate approaches for scaling or improving development programs for enterprise application.

• Analyzes key considerations for conversion of CBT or classroom courses to web-based delivery.
• Creates detailed specifications for development, implementation, and maintenance of instructional design subject matter.
• Advises on instructional design for both large and small units of subject matter.
• Coaches on assessment processes and how to determine topics appropriate for a given learning environment.
• Consults on alternative delivery methods and their implications for learning.

Training Delivery : Knowledge of methods and tools of training delivery; Ability to deliver learning solutions for desired training outcomes

• Evaluates the benefits and drawbacks of each delivery mechanism for various training programs.
• Coordinates the delivery of training sessions and their associated activities.
• Monitors the progress of training session delivery to ensure training schedules are followed.
• Evaluates the quality of training delivered throughout the organization.
• Coaches junior colleagues in choosing proper delivery methods for complicated training situations.
• Collaborates with other functions to adjust training delivery in light of practical requirements.

Training Needs Analysis: Knowledge of tools, techniques and methods of training needs analyses; ability to identify what people need to learn for successful individual and organizational performance.

• Manages training assessment programs for large groups or departments.
• Consults on advanced approaches to analyzing training needs.
• Advises on multiple and varied types of training needs analysis.
• Evaluates the structure and content of training needs questionnaires.
• Coaches others on the application of training needs assessment techniques.
• Develops training needs assessment forms or instruments.

Training Solution Development: Knowledge of training solution development procedures, tools and techniques; ability to utilize the knowledge for developing a solution to stated training needs.

• Consults on the benefits and drawbacks of alternative training development approaches.
• Formulates solutions for similar training needs of various groups to eliminate redundancies.
• Implements the training solution development processes and policies.
• Develops multiple training programs according to specific training needs.
• Advises others on how to control the training costs effectively.
• Teaches others new tools and techniques for developing training solutions.

Training Technologies: Knowledge of training tools and techniques; ability to utilize software, technologies and applications for the creation and development of training programs and processes.

• Evaluates key operational issues and considerations for various training technologies.
• Controls yearly budget for the optimization of training technologies.
• Develops technologies which support distributed and distance learning.
