Overview:

This role is responsible for day to day Supply Chain execution of the Operations organization that she/he supports Supplier Onboarding, Supplier transitions, Supply chain risk mitigations, Cost Management for supplier transitions & New Product Introduction ( NPI ).

The Specialist works to execution of Supply chain Transitions, product procurements by closely work with all key stakeholders such as suppliers, Customer, plant managers, finance, Materials, Sourcing, Commodity and supplier development managers

Job Title:

Assistant Manager - Supply chain

Job responsibilities:

Identify supplier transition risk and mitigate identified risk in transitions.

Onboard suppliers to ERP system by validating all relevant suppliers documents and internal approval process.

Providing procurement Support & Supply chain solutions for New product Introduction ( NPI) Program.

Co-ordinate with program & cross function team and execute the work transfer activities related to supply chain / suppliers.

Send RFQ, Obtain quote and placing Purchase order to suppliers & order acknowledgement.

Review open order with suppliers and follow up with suppliers for on time delivery of materials.

Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecast, lead time management, and expedite process.

Coordinate with internal team quality, finance, stores & logistics function.

Improve Supply chain efficiency in transitions, NPI and Strong in procurement compliance & audit.

Ensure successful execution of supply chain activities in New product Introduction and supplier transition.

Experience with global activities, including Procurements, transitions within different cultures and styles.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering with 7-9 years of experience in day-to-day supply chain execution in transitions & procurements.

Experience in Manufacturing Industries & supply chain domain

Preferred skills: Supply chain transition, Procurement with SAP skill.

Preferred experience: Transition, Procurement, new product development in Supply chain domain.

Fluent in English & handling experience in international suppliers.

Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior leadership.
