Job Overview


The Modern Trade Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales in the modern trade sector for Harissons Bags. They will be in charge of managing and growing key accounts, developing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of the modern trade market and excellent relationship-building skills.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in modern trade sales, preferably in the Consumer Goods industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key accounts.
  • Knowledge of the modern trade market and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the modern trade sector.
  • Manage and grow key accounts, building strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives within the modern trade channel.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to ensure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to develop impactful promotions and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and changes in the modern trade market.
  • Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and drive performance.
