The Job
As an HR Manager in the logistics industry, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the company. Your responsibilities will include developing HR strategies, managing recruitment and staffing, implementing HR policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work culture to support the company's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and staffing process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and workforce planning strategies.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Conduct performance management activities, including performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning.
- Develop and oversee employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentive plans, and employee recognition programs.
- Oversee HR administration tasks, including payroll processing, HRIS management, and record-keeping.
- Stay informed about HR trends and best practices and recommend changes or improvements to HR policies and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
The Profile
- You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Aviation, Transport & Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of legal and statutory requirements pertaining to HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
- You have working knowledge of RECRUITING
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
- You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel, if required.
