Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Pre-Sales to lead our enterprise software services sales team. As the Head of Pre-Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and establishing lasting client relationships. Your strategic thinking, leadership skills, and deep industry knowledge and network will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization.

Location: Hyderabad, India

 

As the Head of Pre-Sales, you will play a critical role in driving our sales strategy and supporting our business development efforts. You will lead a team of pre-sales consultants and solution architects, working closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our you help sales convert opportunities, pre-sales processes are efficient, our solutions are effectively communicated, and our clients are positioned for success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Leadership & Team Management:

 - Lead and mentor the pre-sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

 - Develop and implement strategies to optimize the pre-sales process and align with overall business goals.

 - Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of pre-sales staff.

 

- Strategic Planning & Execution:

  - Collaborate with sales and product management teams to define pre-sales strategies and objectives.

  - Develop and execute pre-sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

  - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform pre-sales strategies.

 

- Customer Engagement & Solution Design:

  - Engage with key clients and prospects to understand their business challenges and requirements.

- Ensure bid management is efficient, timely, and of top-notch quality

  - Lead solution design and proposal development, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company capabilities.

  - Deliver high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value of our solutions.

 

- Process Improvement & Innovation:

  - Continuously assess and improve pre-sales processes, tools, and methodologies.

  - Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the pre-sales function.

  - Coordinate with product management to provide feedback on customer requirements and drive product improvements.

 

- Collaboration & Communication:

  - Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.

  - Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

  - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales roles within the software or technology industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. BFSI pre-sales experience is a bonus.

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software platforms, cloud computing, and enterprise technology solutions.

- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing pre-sales teams.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.

- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business objectives.
