The Role

  • Data Management & Solution Building: Handle unstructured data (images, videos, audio) and design solutions using Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques.
  • Algorithm Implementation: Implement advanced techniques, including object detection, GANs, and optionally, reinforcement learning, to solve complex problems.
  • Deep Learning Expertise: Utilize a deep learning library such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Caffe, with proficiency in at least one.
  • Data Visualization: Leverage tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and SiSense to present insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Platform Experience: Work on AI/Data Science/Analytics platforms, including Microsoft AI, Amazon AI, IBM Watson, H2O, and Knime, to develop robust AI solutions.
  • Business Understanding & Communication: Possess strong business acumen to align AI solutions with business objectives, and demonstrate excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Complex Problem Analysis: Analyze intricate problems, translate them into data science solutions, and ensure computational efficiency and scalability.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Apply knowledge of machine learning techniques in supervised and unsupervised learning, including Classification, NLP, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning Algorithms.
  • End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete data science lifecycle—from building proof-of-concept models to deploying production-ready solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of deep learning projects, with exposure to various algorithms and frameworks to drive project success.
  • Flexible Team Role: Adapt between roles as an Individual Contributor, team member, and data science manager based on project demands.
  • Product Intelligence: Identify gaps in existing products and enhance intelligence to add value and improve user experience.
  • Framework Design: Design and utilize frameworks (R, Python, Azure ML, Amazon ML, Google ML, Spark) for relevant projects.
  • Continuous Learning & Application: Stay up-to-date on AI and deep learning research and explore novel approaches for solving business challenges.
  • Research Implementation: Read and implement solutions based on research papers to tackle specific challenges with innovative techniques.

Ideal Profile

  • Hands-on experience in handling unstructured (image, video, audio) and build solutions using Deep Learning / Machine Learning
  • Experience in implementing object detection, GANs. Knowledge of reinforcement learning is a plus.
  • Good grasp and detailed knowledge of any one deep learning library (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Caffe, etc.) is a must
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and SiSense
  • Exposure to working on AI/Data Science/Analytics platforms like Microsoft AI, Amazon AI, IBM WATSON, H20, Knime
  • Strong business acumen to understand business objectives & dynamics and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • Experience in analyzing complex problems and translating them to data science algorithms with due attention to computational efficiency and testing at scale.
  • Experience in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised: Classification, Data/Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms, Neural Networks, Deep Learning Algorithms.
  • Work on end-to-end data science lifecycle: from building proof-of-concept models to production-ready models & working with engineers to deploy them to production
  • Execute and take ownership of deep learning projects end-to-end. Good exposure to various deep learning algorithms and frameworks 
  • Should be able to effortlessly switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and data science manager as demanded by each project 
  • Figure out gaps in existing products and add intelligence to improve it
  • Designing the frameworks in data sciences (R, Python, Azure ML, Amazon ML, Google ML, Spark, etc) to be used for relevant projects
  • Keep updated on the latest research in AI and deep learning and find ways in which it can be used to solve business problems
  • Must be able to read research papers (eg: some novel architectures, training techniques, etc.) and be able to implement it fully to solve our specific problems
