A critical priority for Asset Management is to ensure that a comprehensive set of high-quality data is available to run our business and meet client needs. The Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Chief Data Office (CDO) was established in 2014 to define AWM's core data strategy. This includes data for clients and accounts, products, securities prices, transactions and holdings, indexes, benchmarks, performance and analytics. The AWM CDO is positioned in the Asset Wealth Management Operations division within AWM Center. We work with the AWM business and Firm wide CDO to analyze data, establish data quality standards and ensure data governance. We partner with the business and technology to implement data systems and process solutions.

Job Responsibilities


You will work as part of an AWM CDO - GWM Data remediation team. Candidate should be able to demonstrate prior experience in reference data/client onboarding and customer due diligence processes (KYC). As well as possess excellent analytical, organizational, attention-to-detail, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Initiative, enthusiasm and confidence to complete projects are also a must. 
Specific responsibilities include:
• Lead upfront analysis of Data Quality Issue management and various metrics reporting
• Data extraction from database to Identify And remediation records impacting data quality issue 
• Participate in the definition of functional requirements for the Data Quality Engine and Operational Data Quality User Interface.
• All management and exception reporting using tools such as Alteryx, tableau and Controls and innovation mind-set
• Good People Skills and ability to leverage energy levels within the team
• Excellent Time Management Skills and highly result oriented and Basic SQL skills and Data Quality tools knowledge
• Develop documentation to support the effective on-boarding and Subject matter expert knowledge transfer to Operations team members.
 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
• 4 or more years of experience managing data analysis projects
• 4 or more years in an operational environment with responsibility for daily data loads and exception management
• Client Onboarding and/or KYC knowledge is must
• Superior analytical skills: Quickly define and deconstruct problems. Identify patterns. Identify root causes. Proposes multiple solution paths
• Superior organizational and project management skills and proactively identify and manage risk.
• Experience performing four or more of the following functions: Root Cause Analysis, business analysis, technical analysis, process flow mapping, remediation.
