PositionOverview:
Weare seeking a talented and experienced Pricing Analyst to join ourPricing and Reporting business
unitfor a pivotal project within the Automobile industry. Thesuccessful candidate will play a key role
indriving pricing strategies for tires and services leveraging theirstrong analytical skills and indepth
understandingof pricing dynamics in the automotivemarket.

Responsibilities:

1.CompetitivePricing Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive analysis todetermine competitive pricing strategies for tiresand
serviceswithin the automobile industry.
Utilize market research competitiveintelligence and internal data to identifypricing
trendscustomer preferences and marketopportunities.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams todevelop pricing models and strategies that
alignwith business objectives and marketdynamics.

2.Benchmarkingand Web Scraping:
Employ advanced web scraping techniques togather pricing data from various online
sourcesincluding competitor websites and industryplatforms.
Conduct benchmarking analysis to compareour pricing strategies with competitors
offeringsacross different geographical regions and customersegments.
Continuously monitor pricing trends andcompetitor actions to identify pricing
differentialsand areas for improvement.

3.RegularPrice Monitoring:
Implement a systematic approach to monitorand analysecompetitor prices on a
fortnightlybasis.
Utilize statistical techniques and datavisualization tools to track pricing fluctuationsand
markettrends.
Generate regular reports and insights tostakeholders highlighting key findings and
recommendationsfor pricing adjustments.

4.SpotChecking Competitor Prices:
Perform adhoc spot checks on competitorprices through web scraping and other
monitoringtools.
Monitor pricing changes in realtime andprovide timely updates to the pricing teamand
relevantstakeholders.
Analyzecompetitor promotions discounts and pricing strategies to informour tactical
responsesand competitive positioning.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree inBusiness Finance Economics Statistics orrelated field. Masters
degreeis a plus.
Minimum of5 years ofexperience in pricing analysis market research or relatedroles
preferablywithin the automobile industry.
Proven expertise in data analysisstatistical modelling and proficiency in analyticaltools
suchas Excel SQL Python or R.
Strong understanding of pricing strategiesmethodologies and competitive dynamics in
theautomotive market.

Experience with web scraping techniquesand familiarity with relevant tools andlibraries
(e.g.BeautifulSoupScrapy) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication presentation andstakeholder management skills with the
abilityto convey complex pricing insights to diverseaudiences.
Detailoriented selfmotivated and able tothrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Ability to work collaboratively incrossfunctional teams and adapt to evolvingbusiness
requirementsand priorities.
