Roles and Responsibilities:


Pricing Strategy Development :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

  • Analyze pricing data, market conditions, and cost structures to identify pricing opportunities and challenges.
  • Generate detailed pricing reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Use analytical tools and software to predict pricing trends and impacts.

Collaboration and Leadership :

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Lead a team of pricing analysts and ensure their continuous development and performance.

Customer and Market Insights :

  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry developments, customer needs, and competitor actions.
  • Develop customer-centric pricing models to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Contract Negotiation :

  • Support the sales team in negotiations with clients by providing pricing guidance and strategies.

Risk Management :

Qualification:


Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.


Experience :

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in pricing, or related roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.


Skills :

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of global freight forwarding market dynamics and regulatory environment.
