Technical Sales Engineer

- Preparingand developing technical presentations to explain our companysproducts or services tocustomers.
- Discussing equipmentneeds and system requirements with customers andengineers.
- Collaborating with salesteams to understand customer requirements and provide salessupport.
- Generating highqualitysales leads following up after initial contact securing andrenewing orders negotiating prices completing sales and arrangingdeliveries.
- Researching developingand modifying products to meet customers technical requirements andneeds.
- Helping customers who haveproblems with installed products and recommending improved orupgraded materials andmachinery.
- Soliciting and loggingclient feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales andmarketing strategies to targetcustomers.
- Identifying areas forimprovement and communicating these issues as well as possiblesolutions to uppermanagement.
- Setting and achievingsales goals and quotas.
- Trainingother members of the sales team on the technical aspects of thecompanys products andservices.
Requirements
- Abachelors degree in engineering marketing business administrationor related field.
- Experience insales and the technologyfield.
- Strong communicationinterpersonal customer service and salesskills.
- The ability to relatetechnical information to nontechnicalcustomers.
- Excellent technical andproblemsolving skills.
- Goodleadership and teamworkskills.
- Willingness to continue yoursales and engineeringeducation.
You have excellent sales skills including proficiency of theEnglish language Youre assertive, empathetic, flexible, activelistener, and persuasive You are a public speaker, polishedpresenter with a service orientated focus Youre a self-starter withthe ability to build relationships, communicate product knowledge,and close deals quickly You have a proven track record incultivating new relationships with customers, translating theirbusiness goals into solutions You have prior experience sellingtechnology solutions
