Bhumi is one of India s largestyouth volunteer organizations with a mission to promotevolunteering as a national habit. The vision for collegepartnerships is to have a Bhumi College Club in every district ofIndia by 2030.
The successfulcandidate will be responsible for developing effectivestrategies to expand our college partnerships and maximisingstudent volunteering.
Primary responsibilitiesinclude but are not limitedto:
- Engageall internal stakeholders in shaping shared goals strategies forthe programme to maximize college student volunteering andengagement.
- Buildstrategies to maximize college student volunteering (10x in thenext 23 years) and oversee the efficient and effective daytodayfunctioning
- Buildstrong long term mutuallybeneficial relationships with managementsof colleges to maximise student engagement learning and leadershipdevelopment
- Buildsystems processes culture and the team (employees and volunteers)to support efficient and effectivedaytoday functioning with a focus on continuous learningimprovement and rapidgrowth
- Strategizeand help execute increased social responsibility among collegesthrough advocacy recognition andevents
PreferredEducation Qualification /Experience:
- AnyGraduate postgraduate orfellowship
- Exceptionalcommunicator with strong written and verbal communicationskills
- Willingto travelextensively
- Excellenttrack record of effectively leading and regionally and/ornationally scaling a performance and outcomesbasedproject
- Provenexperience in partnership development recruitment or a relatedfield preferably within the education and nonprofitsector.
Knowledge SkillsandAbilities:
- Shouldbe entrepreneurial have a growth mindset excited by challenges andopen tolearning
- Strongnetworking and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability toengage with diversestakeholders.
- Strategicthinker with the ability to develop and implement effectivepartnership strategies with a passion for socialimpact

Skills Required: Networking find out & establish contact withlocal Communities, Colleges, NGOs & other Partnerships. Able todo house visits and good reachability in the community. Written andoral communication in Tamil and English. Hindi will be an addedadvantage.. Ability to engage with daily wagers and collegedropouts & slum youths. Basic Idea of Qualitative andQuantitative research methodologies. Flexibility & Positivethoughts keen to learn new things. Education Qualification /Experience: MSW / MBA from a recognized university with 1-3 yearsof relevant experience Other Information: Designation: Associate,Skill-Ed, Student Mobilizer.
