Responsibilities:  • JE/PST will be normally under AM/Traction & Power Supply and are also authorizedto take PTW/Power block from the control centers. • Maintenance & detailed inspection like RSS & ASS inspection, cab inspection, PFInspection, Depot Inspection etc. of the PST (OHE, PSI & SCADA) installations inaccordance with the prescribed schedules with a view to avoid failures. • Submission of the requirements of power blocks / Track access for maintenance, inco-ordination with other departments so as to take maximum advantage of Non traffichours. • Scrutiny of foot patrol reports, daily reports of defects and take prompt action to rectifythe defects brought out. • Close supervision of the maintenance gang under his control to ensure a highstandard of work and compliance with prescribed schedules. To convey preventiveand corrective maintenance progress to TPC and to ensure that it is recorded in thedaily progress register and other relevant registers. • Always to deal with breakdowns and take prompt action to attend any failure andbreakdowns following all safety rules and regulations. • Guidance to the maintenance staff for the proper execution of work in accordancewith standing instructions. • Ensuring that tools and equipment under his charge are properly cared for andmaintained in proper condition. • Keeping watch and taking necessary and timely action to recoup stores and sparesrequired for the system under his jurisdiction. • Preparation and submission of periodical reports and returns to superior officials aslaid-down. • Keeping Mgr./ Assistant. Manager informed of all-important developments andseeking their guidance when required. • Ensuring proper cleaning of each equipment. • Keeping proper records of all reference drawing, manuals, maintenance schedule etc. • Ensuring safe working of maintenance personnel at site while doing maintenance ofequipment. • Ensuring proper competency of the maintenance personnel before commencement ofmaintenance activity. • Ensuring proper records of inventory testing and measuring tools etc. • Carry out any other duties allotted by senior officials/ Officers. • Maintain the SCADA at the OCC and the controlled stations in accordance with theprescribed schedules. • Ensure proper maintenance of UPS/battery bank, Gateways, Servers, local SCADA,ETS, Servers of the SCADA equipment in the OCC and field. Take corrective action ifany abnormality is noticed during maintenance. • Keep in constant touch with the Traction Power Controller and ensure promptrectification of defects reported in the SCADA system. • Ensure that the special instruments and tools used for maintenance of the SCADAequipment are maintained properly. • Impart necessary training to the staff under him in the special techniques ofmaintenance of SCADA equipment as well as trouble- shooting. Qualifications:  • Diploma/ in EEE/EME/ECE. • 2-4 Year experience• Pro-active and self-starter attitude, confidence, and independence • Excellent communication, networking, and logical thinking • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) • Good knowledge of MS Office application

This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 16 RRTS and 6 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India
