Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, AWS Cloud Architect

In this role, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual who can excel in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

·Strategic Leadership:

1. Define the strategic direction and goals for the AWS Center of Excellence in alignment with the company's overall objectives.

2. Collaborate with senior leadership to articulate the value proposition of the AWS CoE and its contribution to the organization's growth.

·Global Alliance Collaboration:

1. Partner with the AWS global alliance lead to cultivate and nurture an effective relationship that aligns with mutual goals and objectives.

2. Collaborate on joint initiatives, sharing insights and perspectives to enhance the partnership's impact.

·Proprietary IP Utilization:

1. Leverage the proprietary intellectual property (IP) owned by the company in our chosen industry and process focus areas to create differentiated offerings on the AWS platform.

2. Drive the identification, assessment, and development of solutions that merge our IP with AWS services.

·Go-to-Market Strategy:

1. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and execute joint go-to-market strategies that showcase the combined strengths of our company and AWS.

2. Develop compelling messaging, collateral, and sales enablement tools to support business development efforts.

·Solution Development:

1. Lead a team of experts to architect, design, and develop innovative solutions that harness the capabilities of AWS while incorporating our industry-specific insights and IP.

2. Ensure solutions align with best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.

·Thought Leadership:

1. Establish the AWS CoE as a thought leader in the industry by contributing to webinars, whitepapers, industry events, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.

2. Drive engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to foster innovation and expertise.

·Performance Measurement:

1. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success and impact of AWS CoE initiatives.

2. Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (master's degree preferred).

·Proven experience in senior leadership roles within a technology consulting, system integration, or related field.

·In-depth expertise in AWS services, architecture, and cloud solutions, with certifications being a plus.

·Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

·Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with partners, customers, and internal teams.

·Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving innovation and transformative change.

·Experience in developing and launching successful joint go-to-market initiatives with technology partners.

·Leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
