Events Specialist

Role Summary:

The Events Specialist holds a pivotal role within the Marketing and Public Relations team, responsible for executing tasks encompassing event planning, execution, public relations, budget and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning:

● Manage and execute various events, including product launches, in-store events, brand events, trunk shows and marketing collaboration events.

● Assist in selecting appropriate venues along with, managing budgets, coordinate logistics, Coordination with the fabricators, FnB arrangements and manage RSVPs, and ensure smooth event operations.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, Partners to ensure effective event planning and PR activities.

● Foster positive relationships to enhance the brand's image.

3. Budget Management:

● Develop and manage budgets for events and marketing collaborations.

● Ensure efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Event Management: Proven experience in planning and executing various events, demonstrating attention to detail and creativity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Budgeting Expertise: Proficiency in developing and managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring financial prudence.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage RSVPs, liaise with stakeholders, and enhance brand relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges proactively and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of events.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies as per evolving event requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a marketing or PR capacity.
• Familiarity with industry trends and innovative event concepts.
• Proficiency in event management software/tools is a plus.
