Roles andResponsibilities

  • FEED/Proposal/Project Engineering involvesdesigning of complex Control and Instrumentation systems FieldInstruments F&G detectors Instrument valves & Manual Valvesfor OnShore and Off Shore Oil and Gas projects based on clientspecifications and international standards.
  • Should have sound knowledge in Engineering Installationand commissioning phase.
  • Should have soundknowledge in ANSI ASME IEC NEMA ISA and ISO codes.
  • Able to evaluate client specification and providenecessary clarification or exception list based onspecifications.
  • Able to identify the potentialcost impact area in the client specification and provide theappropriate techno commercial solution.
  • Ableto Prepare and own the Instrumentation design basis Operating &Control philosophy in co ordination with Process and Control Systemarchitecture.
  • Should have hands on experiencein handing control systems of Allen Bradly Siemens Yokogawa EmersonHoneywell and Invensys Engineering and design.
  • Able to prepare Control System technical requisitiondocuments like specification IO counts plant control philosophythird party interface details and VDRL.
  • Ableto evaluate the Control System technocommercial offer & ensurethe offer is fully complied to the project requirement finalizingthe hardware configuration of the system which includesfinalization of I/O counts & hard wares for Subsysteminterfacing finalizing software configuration philosophy review& approval of the control logic built by system vendor inlinewith process requirement.
  • Able review controlsystem vendor documents like Hardware functional designspecification Software function design specification BOM Panel GAdrawings wiring diagram next loading Processer loading andallocation heat dissipation calculation and Power consumptioncalculation.
  • Able to participate FAT / SAT /ISAT and confirm the software logics and hard wares. Should haveexperience to participate supporting for closeout reports of HAZIDHAZOP SIL F&G mapping study & Constructabilitystudy.
  • Able to provide cost / Man Hourestimates for Control and Instrumentation systems to execute theprojects in line with contractual and scope of supplyrequirements.
  • Should have sound knowledge inProposal work flow and to handle the transition of Proposal toProject phase execution.
  • Able to prepare themaster deliverable list for the project and work with project teamto finalize the schedule of project and monitor control and reportthe progress of Engineering in line with the projectschedule.
  • Should be able to adopt companyprocedures and quality requirements.
  • Shouldhave sound knowledge in ASME IEC & ISA standards.
  • Review P&IDs to confirm correct instrumentationsymbol and control scheme confirm sizes for control

valve relief valve flow element and mountingnozzles for instrumentation.

  • Assistin developing P&IDs to ensure compliance with clientspecifications and/or Cameron standard pipingspecifications.

  • Able to preparespecification Instrument Datasheets Instrument Index I/O ListManual Valve List

review &approving of vendor GADs (System / Instruments / Valves).

  • Able to support site construction andcommissioning activities at various site locations. Able toestimate & direct the team of engineers to derive on the MTOslike Cable Trays Cables Cable glands Tubes & Tube Fittings& Junction Boxes.
  • Able to work withfabricator/contractor and provide solution for technical siterelated queries during construction/commissioning.
  • Able to handle contractual requirement of the project andraise MOCs.
