Job Title - Java Technical Lead

Experience - 10+ years 

Location - Chennai

Educational Background - Any computer or Engineering Degree.

Primary Skills - Core Java , Spring Boot , Micro services , AWS, Lead Experience 

Roles and Responsibilities:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of Java applications and frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide team members in coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their integration where appropriate.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Manage and prioritize the development workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Proficiency with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful services.
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Understanding of security best practices in software development.
