Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical solutioning for large-scale, complex projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture.
  • Manage and mentor development teams , ensuring adherence to best practices and technical excellence.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client communications , addressing technical requirements and managing expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions that meet both client and internal needs.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Ensure the design and development of high-quality, secure microservices using Java Spring Boot.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure compliance with security, quality, and performance standards.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups, promoting efficient project management.
  • Prepare progress reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring project transparency.
  • Manage resource allocation within the team and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fintech trends and regulatory requirements, applying them to project architectures when necessary.
  • Ensure proper database integration, particularly with SQL databases , and optimize queries for performance.
  • Handle performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging of production systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • 6+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
  • Strong experience in leading teams , providing guidance and technical mentorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical solution design and architecture for large, complex systems.
  • Proven experience in client management and stakeholder communication , particularly in high-stakes environments.
  • Fintech industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with API technologies , RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with GIT , Swagger , and cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL databases for schema design, query optimization, and database integration.
  • Familiarity with quality and security scanning technologies like Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect.
  • Experience in Agile project management and leading Agile teams.

Skills:

  • Expert in Java , Spring Boot , and microservices architecture .
  • Proven track record in technical leadership and team management .
  • Strong knowledge of API design and secure RESTful service development.
  • Extensive experience with SQL databases and database performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms , such as AWS, for deployment and scaling.
  • Strong client handling skills , with a focus on aligning technical solutions with business needs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project leadership.
  • Proficient in preparing technical reports and managing resource allocation.
  • Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , or other containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
