Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Lead with 5-7 years of hands-on
experience in software development, architecture, and leadership. As a Technical Lead, you will be
responsible for guiding a team of developers, designing and implementing scalable solutions, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
● Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and create technical
roadmaps.
● Make critical architectural and design decisions for projects, ensuring scalability and
performance.
Project Management:
● Take ownership of end-to-end development cycles from concept to delivery.
● Coordinate tasks and manage timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within
scope.
● Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security, and performance.
Hands-On Development:
● Contribute to code development, debugging, and optimization in core systems (backend,
frontend, or full-stack).
● Design and implement APIs, services, and integrations with third-party systems.
● Oversee database design, queries, and performance optimization.
Collaboration & Communication:
● Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to ensure product vision is
realised.
● Facilitate regular team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote continuous
improvement.
● Communicate technical concepts and progress clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Innovation & Problem-Solving:
● Identify emerging technologies and trends that can improve the company's technical
capabilities.
● Solve complex technical challenges, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in
the systems.
● Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership
role.
Technical Skills:
● Backend: Expertise in Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, etc.
● Frontend: Experience with React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
● Database: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
● Cloud: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and system design.
● Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership & Management:
● Proven track record of leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
● Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
● Strong project management and organisational skills.
Soft Skills:
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
● High level of accountability and ownership in projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or similar industries.
● Familiarity with security standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.
● Experience with AI/ML or data-driven systems.
