Job Title: Sales Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by leveraging technical expertise to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. This role involves collaborating with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives.
  2. Utilize product knowledge and technical expertise to recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the value proposition of our products or services.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets.
  5. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and bids in response to customer inquiries.
  6. Provide pre-sales technical support, including product configuration, solution design, and feasibility analysis.
  7. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats.
  10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; additional business or sales qualifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
