JobDescription:We are seeking anexperienced and motivated Purchase Manager to join our team. Theideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurementprocess managing supplier relationships and ensuring that ourpurchasing strategies align with our companygoals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorsdegree Mechanical / Business Administration Supply Chain Managementor a related field.
  • Proven experience as aPurchase Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strongnegotiation and communicationskills.
  • Proficient in procurement software andMicrosoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of supplychain managementprinciples.

KeyResponsibility:
  • Developand implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost andquality.
  • Identify and evaluate potentialsuppliers negotiating contracts andagreements.
  • Monitor market trends and makeinformed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate withother departments to forecast demand and manage inventorylevels.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasespricing and supplier information.
  • Ensurecompliance with company policies andprocedures.
  • Responsible and accountable for thePurchasing Function. Responsible for vendor identification anddevelopment so as to negotiate and buy materials and services tomeet the Companys operationalrequirements.
  • This includes supplier selectiontendering and cost estimation develop and implement a strategy toensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of thebusiness to add value mitigate supply chain risk and deliver costsavings.
  • Develop and maintain strategicsupplier relationships to deliver continuous improvement indelivery of goods and services by the supplybase.
  • Lead and manage a team of Buyers. Workalongside the senior management team in contributing to overallbusiness objectives.
  • Procedures to improveservice and or reduce costs
  • Other task andresponsibilities as per managementdiscretion
