Overview:


TheBid Managers job is to manage the bid process and ensure thesubmission of compelling and compliant bids to secure new businessfor the company. This role involves coordinating and preparinghighquality bid proposals that meet the clients requirements andreflect the companys strengths and capabilities. The Bid Managerwill work closely with the sales marketing and technical teams togather the necessary information and develop a winning strategy foreachbid.

Beingpart of a strategic and growthoriented team the Bid Manager musthave excellent project management skills and the ability to workunder tight deadlines. The role requires a detailoriented approachand strong communication skills to effectively collaborate withinternal and externalstakeholders.



KeyResponsibilities:
  • Managingthe endtoend bid process from initial opportunity identification tosubmission.
  • Developingand implementing bid strategies that align with the company sobjectives and increase the chances ofwinning.
  • Coordinatingwith internal teams to gather information and inputs required forthebid.
  • Writingreviewing and editing bid proposals to ensure they are compellingaccurate and compliant with clientrequirements.
  • Managingthe bid schedule and ensuring timely submission of all biddocuments.
  • Conductingbid/nobid assessments and making recommendations to the SalesDirector.
  • Ensuringthat all bid submissions adhere to company policies andprocedures.
  • Analysingbid outcomes and providing feedback to improve futurebids.
  • Buildingand maintaining relationships with clients partners andstakeholders involved in the bidprocess.
  • Stayinguptodatewith industry trends and best practices in bidmanagement.


Requirements
  • Minimumof 5 years of experience in bid management proposal writing or arelatedrole.
    Proventrack record of managing and winning bids in a competitiveenvironment.
  • Excellentproject management and organizationalskills.
  • Strongwriting editing and communicationskills.
  • Abilityto work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
  • Attentionto detail and a high level ofaccuracy.
  • Experiencewith bid management software andtools.
  • Knowledgeof the industry and markettrends.
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.

Qualifications:
  • Abachelor s degree in business marketing communications or a relatedfield.
  • Certificationin bid management or a related discipline is aplus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, proposalwriting, or a related role. Proven track record of managing andwinning bids in a competitive environment. Excellent projectmanagement and organizational skills. Strong writing, editing, andcommunication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Experience with bid management software and tools. Knowledge of theindustry and market trends. Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills. Qualifications: A bachelor s degree in business, marketing,communications, or a related field. Certification in bid managementor a related discipline is a plus.
