We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager - Bid Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tender submission, bidding processes, GEM portal management, and comprehensive bid management. The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Submission:
Manage end-to-end tender submission processes.
Ensure compliance with all tender requirements and deadlines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and approvals.
Bidding:
Analyze tender documents and identify key requirements and deliverables.
Develop competitive and compliant bid responses.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for bid proposals.
GEM Portal Management:
Navigate and manage the GEM portal for government procurement.
Upload necessary documents and ensure all information is current and accurate.
Monitor GEM portal for new tender opportunities and updates.
Bid Management:
Oversee the bid lifecycle, from initial identification to final submission.
Develop and maintain bid management documentation and databases.
Conduct post-bid reviews and analyze outcomes to improve future bid strategies.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with internal departments, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless bid preparation.
Provide regular updates to senior management on bid status and outcomes.
Prepare and deliver presentations on bid proposals to stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all bids comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with tender submissions and bid processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
3-8 years of experience in bid management, tender submission, and GEM portal management.
Strong understanding of bidding processes and tender documentation.
Proficiency in using the GEM portal for government tenders.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the ICT, telecom, or related industries.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
