While being part a of Schneider Electric, Zenatix continues to operate as an independent business delivering automation solutions for small and mid-sized buildings, which are deprived of automation globally (as BMS addresses mostly large/complex buildings). Zenatix is strongly positioned to drive significant growth in its existing markets (India and UAE), while launching its products in the US and EP markets later this year.


Job brief: 

 

The key deliverable for this role will be to take a product and/or associated features from ideation to execution stage. The candidate will be actively working with cross functional teams to gather requirements, prioritise feature implementations and introduce new solutions for controls and monitoring. In addition to this, the candidate will be required to resolve advanced technical problems brought to us by customers, application engineers, sales personnel, and any other user of the solution.


Our solution is based on a cloud-first approach. Hence it is imperative that the candidate should be able to understand the cloud architecture and multiple application frameworks to understand the challenges/limitations and accordingly recommend optimisations/define new features.


Job description:


  • HVAC Solutioning:
  • Monitor the performance of newly developed solutions and optimize the same.
  • Build control logics for equipment like AHUs, Cooling Towers, Primary/ Secondary Pumps etc.
  • Analyse performance of building equipment and work with data science team to build predictive maintenance logics.
  • Explore market products, solutions and discover alternatives for various solutions.
  • Coordinate with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions and support & fix existing features whenever required.
  • Analytics: 
  • Optimize automation logics to enhance value delivered to the customer.
  • Carry out necessary analysis and research to articulate features of products.
  • Analyse data using notebook to evaluate the performance of products.
  • Testing and support
  • Support the team in product conceptualization and implementation.
  • Create Templates for BACnet and Modbus Devices.
  • Creation of testing reports post hardware/solution tests.
  • Assist the Ops and Troubleshooting teams for new solutions rolled out.
  • Training and communication
    • Develop collaterals for new and existing products, like training documents.
    • Deliver the training to the Ops teams for new products and solutions delivered.

Education and Technical qualification:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical /Instrumentation /Electronics /Control/ Manufacturing engineering.
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and BMS:
    => Strong understanding of Protocols like Modbus RTU, Modbus IP, BACnet IP, BACnet MSTP, Analog and Digital Inputs and Outputs.
    => Understanding of HVAC equipment like Chillers, AHUs, TFAs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, VRVs, VRFs, etc.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Strong time management skills.

Good To Have: 

  • Experience in IoT domain. (Protocols like HTTP, MQTT, CoAP)
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Notion.
  • Understanding of Zigbee and LoRa.
  • Knowledge of Networking.

Please Note:

  • Must be ready to work from office.
  • Can invest 8-9 hours/day.
  • At least 2 years of experience in BMS and HVAC Domain.
  • Installation experience of BMS is a plus.
