We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Technology Product Owner II to join our Payments Enablement Platform – Paper Payment team. This role is located in Chennai or Pune – Pune, MH / Chennai, TN - HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Sets ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively
- Owns end to end of delivery on pod outcomes
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure product vision aligns within platform strategy and requirements
- Accountable for product specific business outcomes once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders
- Translates user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team; maintains a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
- Works closely with platform leaders to establish each Group’s business value and support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary
- Monitors the risk and regulatory environment and partners with the senior management to consider changes to deliverables as needed
- Translates user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team; maintains a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
- Facilitates release planning with stakeholders and manages sprint demos
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Expertise
- Relevant domain expertise Cheque products is a must have, US Lockbox knowledge is a good to have, knowledge of pod’s mandate including Fraud detection would be beneficial
- Knowledge of organizational context and dynamics within Platform areas
- Experienced with leading cross-functional teams
- Experience with agile ways of working

- Strong communication skills, both with team and executives
- Ability to leverage multiple influencing techniques to motivate a team
- Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
