Business Development Intern

The Business Development Intern will support the business development team in identifying growth opportunities and executing strategies to expand the company’s market presence. This role provides hands-on experience in market analysis, lead generation, partnership development, and strategic planning. The intern will work closely with senior team members to understand the business development process and contribute to various projects aimed at driving business growth.
RequirementsKey Responsibility:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients or partners.
- Lead Generation: Assist in generating leads through various methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and attending networking events.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to support business development strategies and identify areas for growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Support the business development team in managing client relationships, including maintaining contact databases and tracking communication history.
- Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, and business development materials for potential clients or partners.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and identify potential competitive advantages.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads and clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment on business development initiatives.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and supporting business development events, such as conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes to share with the team and management.
- Currently pursuing the final year of an MBA from a Pune college.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated interest in business development, sales, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Good communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of digital transformation and IT automation.
- Enthusiasm for learning and self-improvement.
