We are looking for a Foundry Administration Specialist who will work with the font designers from the foundries that partner with Monotype to sell their fonts. This role primarily consists of working with our partners to help them present their fonts on Monotype platforms in the best way possible and address any problems they have working with us. The Foundry Administration Specialist will work in the foundry product and operations team and with other departments within our company to help our foundry partners establish and maintain their presence at Monotype. This person will correspond with and support foundries around the world, helping to grow Monotype’s relationships with the people who design the fonts we sell.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist and educate foundries on how to submit new fonts, update existing fonts, understand how to best take advantage of the tools Monotype offers for theirsuccess, understand earnings reports, and explain details of customer orders. Communication is done primarily via email in English.

• Administer foundry operations by reviewing foundry applications and submissions, logging and tracking bug tickets, debugging foundry issues, and other administration activities.

• Contribute to existing online documentation to further educate foundries in areassuch as designing, building, and marketing their fonts.

• Actively participate in team meetings related to solutions for foundries.

• Proactively partner, build, and maintain relationships with foundries.

• Communicate with the various internal global teams regarding common issues and work with other departments to maintain product integrity. Escalate support and feature enhancement requests as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Freshers with Basic SQL/Excel experience. Previous experienceworking in SQL/Excel is Preferred. Additional experience with a knowledge base.

• Experience withE-commerce websites.

• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to clearly explain technical issues.

• An understanding of how fonts are installed, used, and how to apply font features in common composing applications,such as Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office, on both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

• Experience with Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce, or other CRM software is a plus.

• Good database knowledge required (SQL)

• Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good knowledge of Excel.

• Good database concepts and SQL for querying and data manipulation.

• Extraordinarily strong writing, typing, and editing skills in English.

• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills to help our partners feel supported.

• Willing to work in Australia, UK and India shift on rotational basis and on weekend/holidays when required.
