Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities

Identify, analyse and assess business requirements from customers and prospects.Benchmark other business needs.Give input to the product plan/Roadmap & long-term plan.Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades.

Formalize requirements (scoping)

Propose solutions to the customer aligning with Amadeus business needs.Assess potential gaps between customer requirements and Amadeus solutions.Write a high-level business requirement and/or document detailed requirements and epics and/or user stories.

Agile Product Management / Business Owner activities

Define the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners, the product owners & agile teamsEmbark customers & Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business Maximize the agile team outcome: translate requirements into epics and/or user stories, prioritize them and validate their deliveryMaintain high levels of professionalism, proactive communication, remain positive and embrace change

Follow up customer satisfaction

Provide support and assistance to customerMonitor product acceptance, product performance and satisfaction Take corrective action as necessary

Promote the product

Provide key information on the product to define the Value propositionContribute to the launch plan with Product Marketing and other associated teams & Bus.Work with Product Marketing on strategy, pricing and product descriptionsShare content for product documentation, sales tools and collateral.Create standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product value.Give presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to customer, or train Sales to perform them.Ensures all training materials, implementation guidelines are up-to-date to ensure smooth adoptionParticipate to the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launch and follow up.Contribute to RFP/RFI for the product

Customer/Travel:

Frequent interaction with current and prospective airline customers as well as with other Amadeus teams including R&D, implementation and account teams.Travel (up to 20%) for various internal and external meeting/workshops (Customer, Industry forums etc.. ) may be necessary

Relevant work experience:

Demonstrated experience in setting product requirements and launching successful products.Capable of prioritizing effectively even in situations with little clarity.Established ability to use data to inform decisions and influence outcomes.Proficient in communication; skilled at collaborating with teams that include members in different locations.Proactive and self-motivated, with a knack for learning and adapting quickly.Preference for candidates with experience in agile methodologies within sizable team projects.Background in conducting market and competitive analysis, as well as managing customer interactions.Knowledge of the Airline Industry is beneficial, particularly systems related to airline inventory, revenue integrity, and distribution.Solid comprehension and hands-on experience with data science, AI/ML.

Education / level of Experience:

BE /BTech/ MBA with 10+ yrs. of experience in Product Management from reputed organizations
