About the team & role

If you are excited about transforming the way millions order food, groceries and utilities in India, we would like to have you join our team as a Principal Product Manager in Swiggy Payments team. This person will be responsible for leading Swiggy’s

i) Payments platform for all business units and

ii) Payment-led growth products.


In this role, you will work with various internal product teams, UX researchers/designers, data scientists, analytics, marketing and business to build a strategy and roadmap for Swiggy payment’s charter.


What will you get to do here?

  • Establish & own long term vision for several products & platforms at Swiggy while strategizing ,planning and influencing to deliver on the planned roadmap
  • Partnering with business, operations, product, marketing, supply and Analytics teams to deliver on the roadmap while unlocking long term value for our customers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic roadmaps across Swiggy's focus areas based on the AOP targets and execute as per the aligned roadmaps
  • Collaborate with product teams across the org to ideate and find win-win-win solutions on common objectives’ across multiple categories and product lines impacted
  • Manage, facilitate and nurture team members at all levels to design and build differentiated experience for Foster a culture of innovation & learning with high emphasis on sustainable rituals
  • Determine the targets / success metrics for the org based on the organizational strategy and be the custodian for these metrics.


What qualities are we looking for?

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Product Management with extensive experience in user research, consumer backward thinking, design thinking and building consumer experiences in the e-commerce/consumer internet industry.
  • Experience in core payments products would be a huge plus
  • Must have a deep understanding of the broader payments ecosystem, new technologies and their applications to improve payment experience.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality data products in large internet company impacting millions of users.
  • You are consumer obsessed, but you can walk a tightrope balancing consumer delight with potentially orthogonal org goals.
  • Well versed with running experiments & is considered an expert in analyzing data, showcasing a deep understanding of the 360-degree interaction effects and potential long-term impacts, can cull out the unknowns and hedge against them.
  • Ability to lead a high performing team of data science, analytics, engineering, technology, and business folks.
  • You have demonstrated experience in working across multiple products, various stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several teams/functions leading to successful outcomes. You thrive in managing a charter with big impact & multiple intersections in a large org.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Highly customer-obsessed thinking with a deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations.
