The QuickBooks UK Design team is looking for a Principal Product Designer. You’ll influence the end-to-end customer experience and be responsible for building world-class payroll solutions for employers, the employees and their contractors. **Qualifications**:
Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field; Master’s preferred
- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
- Expertise conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wire-framing, and prototyping
- Deep knowledge of design principles and methods and interaction design
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and more
- A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process

**Responsibilities**:

- You’ll be a strategic problem-solver. You will consider multiple perspectives, objectives, and needs to arrive at the ideal solution - you will do this by being business-savvy and keeping your users’ needs at the forefront of your designs.
- You’ll be a proactive team player who is eager and excited about producing awesome work. You’ll keep track of multi-projects at once, manage your time efficiently and communicate scheduling with your manager and the broader team.
- You’ll build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership to deliver great results and to "raise the bar" continually as an effective leader of positive change
- You’ll build a vision for a great customer experience, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use.
- You’re going to understand metrics and how to use them to drive projects and make decisions
- You will conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
- You will create user interface design, architecture and functionality according to usability best practices, standards-compliant design and most importantly, user tested data.
- You will solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews, helping to drive excellence throughout the team
- Contribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards.
- You’ll participate in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing design community across all Intuit offices across the globe.
