Job Title: Senior Program Manager- ECU SW Development & Validation

Employment Location: Bangalore / India

Strategy:

· Align strategic direction of Projects with department and Organisation.

· Support in developing and implementing company strategy, organization and department development.

Projects:

· Lead ECU SW Dev & Validation activities for multiple car lines and components.

· Define Validation Strategy for the Team in line with the defined department strategies.

· Ensure quality and timelines of each deliverable in the projects.

· Work out efficient processes and improve existing processes to improve the efficiency, excellence and competitiveness of the department RD/ICB.

· Ensure effective team, customer and supplier communication.

· Should have good understanding of SW Architecture, AUTOSAR, Validation methods, Tool chains across the industry

· Responsible for People management & career development of the team

· Act as a point of escalation for all project & business related queries

· Coordinate with various stakeholders (internal and external). Participate in various supplier discussions, technical and management discussions.

· Ensure alignment & implementation of project strategy in line with organization strategy

· Lead cross-functional activities & collaborate with leadership team as needed

· Collaborate and share LLBP across teams at MBRDI as well as MB.

· Develop knowledge channel with external agencies, universities, educational institutes etc.

· Initiation of actions for further development of managers and ensure the goals are achieved.

· Take initiative and be responsible to develop good image of the organization & department by implementation of processes, demonstration and upholding behaviours towards safety, quality, integrity, sustainability, diversity, equity & inclusivity and core values of the company

Personal:

· Development of processes to get the required talent for the department.

· Capacity planning, recruitment and allocation.

· Keep the employee commitment level high and increase retention.

· Inspire and motivate the employees.

· Knowledge and competency build-up

· Target setting, performance monitoring, coaching and mentoring of employees.

· Safeguard the critical resources and information.

Budget:

· Financial planning for the team.

· Optimum utilization of resources including budget to meet expectations of business units. Costing and pricing of department activities to make MBRDI cost efficient for business units

Education

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics, Control Systems. Experience in Project Management is additional requirement

- Collaborate and share LLBP across teams and Organisation.

- Develop knowledge channel with external agencies, universities, educational institutes etc.

· Initiation of actions for further development of managers and ensure the goals are achieved.

Experience & knowledge of various SW Development Lifecycles – V-model, Agile etc., exposure to intercultural concerns, excellent communication & leadership skills.
