JobDescription:Generate businessthrough Sales activity in assigned branches and strive towardsachieving individual targets (Sales Budgets Trade Lane budgets Jobfiles) and CompanyObjectives.
Responsibilities:
- Preparea list of the top 20 major accounts and build businessrelationships with these Prospects & Existing Multinationalcustomers large clientele and corporate customers through regularclient visits. Maintain Retain and further develop existing keyaccounts.
- To jointly work with the Product teamSales Management in developing our core Trade lanes and Verticalmarkets within the multinational customersegment.
- Report Sales activities on a dailybasis through the CRM system and maintain Sales Visit Plan in theMy CRM system.
- Ensure that RFQs / Tenders aresubmitted with the assistance of our local and global tender teamfor successful conversion.
- Ensure that allquotations are sent out to customers within the agreed time frameas per company directives in coordination with sales support.Ensure proper followup of these quotations with the customer forquick conversion. It is mandatory to have a proper SOP made out inconjunction with Sales support for all the businesses controlled byyou and submitted to Operations.
- Pursueactivities to achieve KPIs. A set of KPIs will be listed out to youby your Manager.
- All outstanding payments to besettled in accordance with agreed creditterms.
- Generate qualified and validated Salesleads and follow up with CargoPartner and System Partnerbranches.
- To collect regular feedback fromCustomers to gauge Customer delight and effect improvement wherevernecessary.
- Marketknowledge of the Freight Forwarding / Logisticsindustry.
- Strong Selling and Negotiationskills
- Should be a team person with excellentinterpersonal skills.
- Should be ComputerSavvy.
- Should have Relative strengths inSelling Import /Export Air and Sea Freight Cargo with a proventrack record of captive business and ownaccounts
- Minimum of 3 5 years experience inrelated industry.
- Degree educated andpreferably in Logistics Marketing or InternationalTrade
