Overview

Execute reporting vertical responsibilities (of the Insights Services Hub) for South Africa.

Accelerate PepsiCo business growth by contributing to South Africa team for creating/updating dashboards, delivering periodic and on-demand performance reviews, and addressing ad-hoc requests based on internal and external data sources. These individuals will have short-term responsible for knowledge transfer from the business and flawless delivery of recurring reports. Once established, they will execute optimization of the content and processes, including ad hoc questions and overall automation of delivery.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:• Execute against team charter for Reporting & Analytics for South Africao Execute market, portfolio, and brand level reporting of marketing KPI performance (utilizing dashboards, templated decks, and reporting tools)o Provide business performance explanations, incorporating considerations beyond data into the reportingo Explain business performance, drivers, and optimization opportunitieso Monitor key channel, customer, competitor and emerging player performance and execute reporting at required intervalso Provide deep dive analysis and responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when double-click required with tables/charts/stories using relevant datao Support team efforts/agency interactions for some of the recurring work like AOP/JBP etc.o Lead/Support Analytics presentations and reporting with Categoty teamo Provide support on yearly Advacned Analytics Projects like Category Growth Forcasting,Innovation forecasting

• Support SA Business Analytics Manager/Sr. Manager deliver against needs articularted by Business Partners within South Africa business unit to address the business questions and process requirements o Deliver against needs of stakeholders, requestors and end service users o Support processes for output adherence and delivery to agreed scope – in line with the agreed timelines, aligned templates and content managemento Responsible for managing multiple priorities; being able to manage deadlines and deliverableso Monitor and act upon regular feedback inputs from deliverables end-users and Business Partnerso Flag and monitor any business risks related to delivering the operational output (facilities, IT resources, recruitment efforts)o Primary executor responsible for flawless support process and structure, including knowledge management and transfer

• Process management o Due Dieligence and Data qulity assurance For retail Audit and Kantar Husehold Panelo Support communication processes with Reporting vertical leaders and Business Partners (project planning, workflow monitoring, quality checks, on-going changes)o Help Reporting vertical leadership develop and finetune internal COE processes (work-flow mapping, pain-points and bottlenecks management) both related to service delivery and internal center operationso Improve existing processes based on frequent end-user and Business Partner feedback loopo Support simplification, standardization and digitalization efforts (in cooperation with global and sector stakeholders)

Qualifications

• A junior/mid-level Insight or Analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company or research agencies NIQ, IPSOS,IRI. 3 years+ experience• Education: MA in economics, sociology, math, marketing or management • Potential to develop leadership and influencing profile in line with Insights Leader of the future definition: Motivates action through fact-based, inspirational material; Has a track record of identifying and championing new processes for improving fact-based decision making. Can synthesize multiple, disparate data sources into compelling growth strategies. Formulates a strong POV and can articulate future scenarios; Is an exceptional story-teller. • Strong collaborator: Interested and motivated by working with others. Actively creates and participates in opportunities to co-create solutions across markets; will be willing and able to embrace Responsive Ways of Working• Knowing the Business Cold: Can easily see how insights/research learning can improve businesses impact and frames up reporting efforts and opportunities to inform business decisions• Proven analytics, shopper research experience, consumer insights experience or commercial experience in a combination with strong analytical skills• High degree of familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data sources, including Nielsen/IRi (POS and HH panel), GlobalData, Kantar Worldpanel, etc.• Deep understanding of CPG industry business performance outputs and causal measures, their relationships, and how to bring business performance insights to life visually• Experience with Agile development methods, Tableau, Business Objects, D3 open source visualization, SQL, R and SPSS desired• Operational experience from business servicing sector and/or consulting experience would be a plus • Fluent English – obligatory
