Job Summary: The State Head of Sales for the BANCA channel will be responsible for driving sales and achieving business targets within their designated state. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing relationships with banking partners, and leading a team of sales professionals to ensure the growth and profitability of the BANCA channel in their state. The State Head of Sales will report directly to the Zonal Sales Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the sales strategy for the BANCA channel within the designated state to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to drive sales and enhance collaboration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning within the state.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to design and launch products tailored to the BANCA channel.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the Zonal Sales Head.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the bancassurance model and experience working with banking partners.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
