JobSummary: We are looking for a meticulous anddetailoriented Auditing Assistant to join our team. This roleinvolves supporting the auditing department by conducting routinechecks preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance withlegal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strongunderstanding of accounting principles and be able to assist withvarious audits both internal andexternal.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Assistin the planning and execution of internal and externalaudits.
- Help prepare financialstatements in accordance with accountingstandards.
- Review transactions andsupporting documents foraccuracy.
- Assist in the assessmentof internal controls including risk assessments and reviews of riskareas.
- Participate in the draftingof audit reports including the findings andrecommendations.
- Conduct dataanalysis to identify discrepancies and areas needingimprovement.
- Maintain and updateauditing documentation andinformation.
- Ensure compliance withall statutory and regulatoryrequirements.
- Collaborate with teammembers to follow up on audit findings and correctiveactions.
- Provide support infinancial and complianceaudits.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or relatedfield.
- Proven experience as anAuditing Assistant or similarrole.
- Strong understanding ofaccounting and financial reporting principles andpractices.
- Excellent data analysisskills and attention to detail.
- Goodwith numbers and the ability to spot numericalerrors.
- Familiarity with accountingsoftware and systems.
- Strongorganizational and communicationskills.
- Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam.
- Professionalism with thepropensity to adhere to all confidentialityrequirements.
Proven experience as an Auditing Assistant or similar role. Strongunderstanding of accounting and financial reporting principles andpractices. Excellent data analysis skills and attention to detail.Good with numbers and the ability to spot numerical errors.Familiarity with accounting software and systems. Strongorganizational and communication skills. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team. Professionalism, with thepropensity to adhere to all confidentialityrequirements.
