JobOverview: The Store Keeper plays a crucial role inmanaging the daytoday operations of the store at the constructionsite. The individual is responsible for maintaining recordsoverseeing inventory and ensuring the secure and efficientorganization of materials and equipment. The goal is to ensure thatthe construction project has a steady flow of required materialswithout any discrepancies ordelays.
KeyResponsibilities:
InventoryManagement:
- Overseeand manage inventory levels orders storage and distribution ofmaterials and equipment.
- Performregular inventory audits and keep accurate records of incoming andoutgoing materials.
- Coordinate withsuppliers and site management for timely delivery and restocking ofmaterials.

RecordKeeping:
- Maintaincomprehensive records of materials received stored andissued.
- Ensure all documentationsuch as delivery notes invoices and stock records are accuratelyfilled out andfiled.

- Inspectdeliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to suppliersand site management for reimbursements and recordkeeping.
- Ensure the quality ofmaterials meets the required standards andspecifications.

SafetyandCompliance:
- Ensurethe storage and handling of materials comply with safetyregulations and companypolicies.

- Liaisewith project managers engineers and other site staff to ensure thesmooth operation of thestore.
- Assist in forecastinginventory requirements based on project timelines and coordinatewith vendors for timelysupply.

Requirements
EssentialQualifications:
- HighSchool Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification ininventory management logistics or related field ispreferred.
- Provenexperience as a Store Keeper or similar role preferably in theconstructionindustry.
- Familiaritywith construction materials andequipment.
