Long Description Job Summary
The Storeman is fully responsible and accountable forreceiving storing securing and the issuance of products in additionto the delivery of products invoiced to the front delivery counter.The job role focuses on leading all relevant processes in alignmentwith Alghanim policies and procedures. The store man is alsoaccountable for sound housekeeping of the storage area conductinginventories reporting dented items and discrepancies to storemanager.
Job Responsibilities
  • Handles accurate receipt of goods atthe showroom
  • Reports discrepancies dented anddamaged products to Store Manager
  • Responsibleto storing labelling and recording damaged and denteditems
  • Collaborate with Section Heads to havereceived items displayed at the showroom and highlights any itemsnot displayed to the store management
  • Ensuresaccurate stock counts and inventoryresults
  • Ensures quick access to stored productsand sound delivery process
  • Ensures safe productmovement to reduce shrinkage
  • Accountable foradequate and accurate data updates
  • Accountablefor running auto replenishment reports
  • Ensuresissuance of Post Goods Issue (PGI) for items sold frombackstorage
  • Responsible for all stock transfersto other showrooms and returns tosuppliers
  • Arranges sending dented items todented houseware according to presetschedule
  • Ensures all backstores activities inalignment with organizational policies &procedures
  • Maintains backstores cost controlmeasures in alignment with businessobjectives
  • Ensures sound housekeeping at thebackstore
  • Ensures backstores employee awarenessof safety and emergency procedures.
CandidateRequirements
  • Communication skills(verbal and written) English must & Arabic will be an addedvalue.
  • Product Knowledge inelectronics.
  • Problem solving teamworkskills.
  • Ability to work underpressure.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in thefield.
  • Proficient inEmails.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office (abilityto open / create save and modify document in word send and receiveemails in outlook and create spreadsheets inexcel.
