Key Responsibilities:

License Compliance Management:a Monitor and manage third-party software licenses to ensure compliance. Track license usage and renewals, ensuring timely updates. Maintain a detailed inventory of all third-party software and associated licenses. Compliance Audits: Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to licensing agreements. Develop and implement internal audit procedures and policies. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party software usage. Analyze and evaluate software contracts for compliance risks. Work with legal and procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions in software contracts. Policy Development: Develop and enforce policies and procedures for software acquisition, usage, and compliance. Educate and train staff on software compliance policies, tools and best practices. Reporting: Generate license compliance reports for management and stakeholders. Maintain records of compliance activities and audit results. Track and report compliance metrics and KPIs. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, procurement, and business units to ensure compliance. Act as a liaison between the company and software vendors. Provide guidance on software compliance issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Skills andQualifications:

TechnicalSkills:

Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreements. Experience with third-party software management. Ability to understand the software system and the usages of third-party software within the system.

AnalyticalSkills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex software license agreements and compliance requirements.

CommunicationSkills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in preparing detailed compliance reports and documentation.

OrganizationalSkills:

High attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

EducationalBackground:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Previous experience in software compliance, software asset management, or a related role. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to software compliance.

Personal Attributes:

Ethical and principled. Proactive and able to work independently. Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
