JOBPURPOSE:


TheProcess Improvement Superintendent will be responsible foridentifying developing and implementing process improvementinitiatives to enhance the efficiency effectiveness and quality ofship management operations. This role aims to optimize operationalperformance reduce costs ensure regulatory compliance and drivecontinuous improvement across all aspects of the fleet smanagement.


KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ProcessAnalysis andImprovement:
  • Analyzecurrent ship management processes to identify inefficiencies andareas forimprovement.
  • Developand implement process improvement strategies and initiatives toenhance operational performance and reducecosts.
  • Monitorthe effectiveness of implemented changes and continuously refineprocesses for optimalperformance.
  • Collaboratewith QHSE teams to integrate safety and regulatory requirementsinto process improvementinitiatives.
  • Conductroot cause analysis of performance issues and recommend correctiveactions.
  • ProjectManagement:
  • Leadand manage process improvement projects from conception through tocompletion.
  • Coordinatewith various departments to ensure successful projectimplementation.
  • Developproject plans set milestones and track progress againstgoals.
  • TrainingandDevelopment:
  • Workwith the Training department to ensure understanding and adoptionof newprocesses.
  • StakeholderEngagement:
  • Workclosely with ship managers operations teams and other stakeholdersto gather input and feedback on processimprovements.
  • Maintaineffective communication channels to ensure alignment and supportfor improvementinitiatives.
  • TechnologyandInnovation:
  • Worktogether with the Technology department to drive the implementationof digital solutionsand
  • innovationsto streamlineoperations.



Requirements

QualificationsandExperience:

  • Youare currently working as a technical or marine superintendent withsailing experience as Chief Engineer orMaster.
  • Youhave at least one years shorebased experience focusing onoperational improvement or Safety & Quality function of ashipping or ship managementorganization.
  • Proventrack record of leading process improvement initiatives andprojects.
  • Experiencewith project management lean methodologies Six Sigma or otherprocess improvementframeworks.

Skills:

  • Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Excellentproject management and organizationalabilities.
  • Effectivecommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Proficiencyin using process improvement tools andsoftware.
