In this role, you will:
  • Provide support for Global Accounts Payable activities for Wells Fargo external suppliers, lines of business and control functions. A significant portion of the support activities include answering phone calls and providing real-time responses.
  • Review and resolve moderately complex activities associated with Accounts Payable and Employee Expense Reimbursements and Internal Commercial Card.
  • Gather financial data and facts to ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.
  • Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal control policies.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Knowledge and understanding of Concur/AppZen systems.
  • Ability to execute tactical deliverables quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Concur, AppZen, Ariba and Oracle
  • Customer Service Solution Center and/or call center experience
Role Summary:

The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team within Supply Chain management delivers a globally integrated procure-to-pay solution leveraging standardized processes and tools while implementing controls, disciplined oversight, and comprehensive value to the customer. Global Accounts Payable within Supply Chain Management is responsible for processing payments for good and services for the global organization as well as timely and accurate payments to suppliers and employees for reimbursable expenses ensuring payments are consistent with policies, procedures and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Global Accounts Payable team also supports Ariba, PeopleSoft and SAP ERP systems, Concur Travel and Expense and Internal Commercial Card (ICCARD) applications.
