Purpose of the Team/Role
The Hardware Asset Management Administrator is involved with the day-to-day activities relating to hardware asset management, including purchase order management, asset tracking, auditing and disposal. The remit of the Hardware Asset Management team is global and extends to all aspects of endpoint hardware asset management, independent of location.
Key Deliverables/Responsibilities
Maintenance of all hardware asset details within Service Now Management of hardware purchase orders through their lifecycle (including ‘Goods Receipting’ and consolidated invoice checking) Management of all purchasing and end to end stock management activities including asset recording and tracking. Adding new assets to the repository and managing the asset deployment process. Handling of queries relating to hardware asset details. Ensure assets are accounted for (including those assets that are unassigned) and components are accurately reflected in Service Now. Manage and maintain IT Services stock levels, across all regions, to ensure that levels are sufficient and stock records are accurately maintained. Assist in the establishment and embedding of global hardware asset management processes across all regions. Support the Hardware Asset Team Manager in all aspects of service delivery. Manage individual incidents and requests according to defined SLAs – aim for 100% adherence to REQ & INC Best Practice guidelines.Experience Required
Essential:
1-3 years in procurement, IT or a related field Good record keeping and organisation Good Computer Literacy – MS OfficeDesirable:
Prior experience with Service Now Exposure to financial elements of a corporate company Understanding of procurement for software, hardware and mobiles ITIL V3 Foundation AccreditationWhat We Can Offer You:
