The remit of the Hardware Asset Management team is global and extends to all aspects of endpoint hardware asset management, independent of location.
Key Deliverables/ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of all hardware asset details within Service NowManagement of hardware purchase orders through their lifecycle (including 'Goods Receipting' and consolidated invoice checking)Management of all purchasing and end to end stock management activities including asset recording and tracking.
Adding new assets to the repository and managing the asset deployment process.Handling of queries relating to hardware asset details.
Ensure assets are accounted for (including those assets that are unassigned) and components are accurately reflected in Service Now.
Manage and maintain IT Services stock levels, across all regions, to ensure that levels are sufficient and stock records are accurately maintained.
Assist in the establishment and embedding of global hardware asset management processes across all regions.Support the Hardware Asset Team Manager in all aspects of service delivery.
Manage individual incidents and requests according to defined SLAs – aim for 100% adherence to REQ & INC Best Practice guidelines.
Experience RequiredEssential:
1-3 years in procurement, IT or a related fieldGood record keeping and organisationGood Computer Literacy – MS OfficeDesirable:Prior experience with Service NowExposure to financial elements of a corporate companyUnderstanding of procurement for software, hardware and mobilesITIL V3 Foundation Accreditation
