Sr. Analyst – Sales GTM Ops Analytics

 

As the Sr. Analyst, Sales GTM Ops at Insight, your primary responsibility will be to provide analytical support to Insight’s Sales GTM Strategy efforts.  This is a dynamic and high-profile position requiring the successful candidate to utilize a broad range of financial, sales, process, operational and strong communication skills; combined with strong business acumen. This person will be a key contributor on the team to structure and maintain the Sales GTM structure (account segmentation, roles, coverage, territory planning) at Insight. 

 

Role & Responsibilities include
 

  • Build and maintain a data repository along with a suite of reports for account segmentation, roles, coverage and territory management; supporting the GTM Strategy team.

·       Serve as the data steward for all account and sales GTM characteristics data points on which account segmentation and coverage structure is built out.

  • Act as point of engagement with other Data Management, BI and analytics team within Insight.
  • Provide financial reporting, analysis and planning support to finance and sales leadership
  • Own the creation and distribution of value-added management reporting on sales data, territory and coverage planning

 

Who You Are
 

  • Proven experience working in querying and analytical tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx
  • Advanced Excel skills, importing data from external data sources and manipulating in Excel via formulas, macros, VBA, pivot tables, other
  • 4-5 years of experience in a combination of sales strategy, sales planning operations, or management consulting
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales GTM planning and operations
  • Top tier BA/BS; MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to draw relevant business conclusions based on multiple data inputs, paint the big picture and build credible independent recommendations
  • Strong communications & influencing skills, experience presenting & working with partners at all levels, producing exec level content and conducting exec conversations
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills – grows with driving
  • Ability to understand business requirements, KPIs and convert into analytical hypothesis in a structured and logical manner along with solution identification
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time in terms of multitasking, prioritization, allocation and team management
  • Ability to coordinate and work within a multiple business unit from project management perspective
