Designation: Proactive Pipeline Manager - Project DevelopAhead
Syngene’s proactive development of certain key molecules
Job Location: Bangalore/Remote
Department: Commercial Department – Proactive Target development – “Develop Ahead”

Job Purpose (1-2 Lines) Lead the selection of target compounds based on key/clear commercial and technical criteria. Ensuring that both are aligned such that there is a reasonable probability of securing long term commercial business directly from the project or through using said work to build strategic relationships which in turn release other opportunities.
Responsibilities: (Maximum 5-8 Points)
Identify suitable potential projects from a wide variety of sources. Ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities, working with the team to accelerating the best and quickly killing those that fail Evaluate the commercial potential of projects under consideration, taking into account.. End customer(s) Phase Potential for multiple drug applications Volume and value Pull together costing models for projects/molecules, liaising with purchasing and other functions as necessary. Arrive at the final mfg. pricing in collaboration with the team Carry out sensitivity/what if analysis. Maintain a risk register for each project Ensure that technical and commercial risk stay aligned Facilitate the shipment of samples and reports to the interested client/s. Project handovers to the Syngene project management team/s when the “DevelopAhead” project/s get converted to Paid projects be it synthesis or large-scale manufacturing. Provide project/pipeline data for the periodic review of “DevelopAhead” activities within Syngene. Maintain cost trackerEducational Qualification:
M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) / B.E. (Chemical).
MBA or business qualification an added benefit
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to pull together a paper-based evaluation/proposal Ability to cope with levels of uncertainty, making sound and sensible assumption in order to keep things moving ahead Project management/planning – risk management Data searching and analysis – ability to understand and interpret techno commercial reports Budgeting and reporting Technically sound understanding of late stage Chemical Development and Manufacturing Clear written and spoken EnglishExperience:
Min 5 years working is a CRO/CDMO/CMO environment Experienced in techno commercial data searching and analysis…and preparing suitable summary reports Ideal recent background roles might be, BD, Senior TSS, RFX or project Manager Ideally have worked in Chemical Development and/or ManufacturingBehavioral Skills:
