  • Achievedaily targeted number of sales calls witheffectiveness
  • Develop business leads for theHotel on a weekly basis
  • Prepare monthly list ofaccounts to penetrate for the followingmonth
  • Plan a minimum of 2 siteinspections/entertainment meetings per week to qualified potentialaccounts or new accounts
  • Prepare monthly actionplan for main market segment
  • Perform monthlyreview account profile on room nights production and averagerate
  • Monitor competitors rate strategy accountpenetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitiveedge
  • Fully responsible of accounts underhis/her management including contracting updating profile andrenewing contracts
  • Update management on VIParrivals meet and greet accordingly
  • Upsellcrosssell and promote Hotel facilities & services at everyavailable opportunity in order to maximize salesrevenue
  • Conduct negotiations to achieve thebest profit and rates for the Hotel
  • Attendhotel clients and local community business events to network andmaintain high visibility
  • Update Director ofSales/ Director of Sales & Marketing on market trends andbusiness leads

TeamManagement

  • Interviewselect and recruit directreports
  • Identify anddevelop team members with potential
  • Conductperformance review with the team
  • Constantlymonitor team members appearance attitude and degree ofprofessionalism
  • Develop conduct maintain allstaff training programs for team members focusing on theirdevelopment needs providing them with new skills to meet thechanging needs of thebusiness

OtherResponsibilities

  • Attendall briefings meetings and trainings as assigned bymanagement
  • Maintain a high standard of personalappearance and hygiene at all times
  • Be aware ofthe hotel fire & life safety/emergencyprocedures
  • Perform other reasonable dutiesassigned by the assigned by theManagement

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diplomain Tourism / Hospitality Management / EventsManagement
  • Minimum 2 year ofexperience in a similar capacity
  • Excellentreading writing and oral proficiency in Englishlanguage
  • Proficient in MS Excel Word &PowerPoint
