A little bit about the role:
ORBCOMM is a leading global provider of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication solutions that remotely track, monitor and control fixed and mobile assets. We are looking for a Collections Specialist (Cash Application) whois responsible for following up with past-due customers to collect monies due and offer solutions that will bring their accounts up-to-date or back into compliance. The ideal candidate should be in Hyderabad.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Apply incoming cash payments to customer outstanding receivables, reconcile any differences and, if necessary, communicate with customersConduct collection calls and correspondence to all customers until invoices have been paid in fullProvide customer service regarding collections, process, and review accounts, and resolve client discrepanciesCommunicate and follow-up effectively with customer care/sales and operations departmentEstablish and maintain effective cooperative working relationships with customersAssist customers in getting their invoice paid and account reconciledDesired Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in collections Strong customer service in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to collaborate with team members to achieve desired outcomes Advance knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel is a mustAbility to submit e-billing invoices and work with multiple platformsAbility to multi-task, work under pressure, handle interruptions while maintaining flexibility in work assignmentsAbility to communicate effectively and interact with diverse personalities while maintaining a professional attitudeAbility to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail on all assignmentsDiscover the Total Reward Package:
