The Project Manager will take overallresponsibility and ownership for all postsale aspects of thesuccessful delivery to the highest standards of a project orportfolio of projects.The success of theseprojects is defined as a delighted customer and a project deliveredat the planned margin.The Project Managerwill be expected to lead coordinate and manage teams tosuccessfully deliver projects ensuring that agreed frameworks toolsmethodologies and automation tools are utilizedeffectively.The Project Manager will be ableto operate independently calling on support when required andensuring that risks and issues and identified and mitigated orescalated as appropriate; and opportunities are identified andpursued.
Responsibilities
  • ProjectPlanning Framework: Takes responsibility for theintegrity of the Project Planning Framework and that PlanningProcesses are followed to ensure that the Project formulates a setof Plans that provide confidence that:
  • TheDeliverables for a Phase are comprehensive &complete.
  • The Activities required to achievethe Deliverables are well defined.
  • The Sequenceof Activities are logically correct.
  • The Effortrequired to complete the Activities is estimatedaccurately.
  • The Resources allocated toundertake the Activities are appropriatelyskilled.
  • Project ExecutionFramework: Takes responsibility for the ProjectExecution Framework and that it is followed to ensure that theProject Executes consistently across Workstreams to provideconfidence that:
  • Tooling is being usedeffectively and efficiently.
  • DocumentationStandards and Templates are being applied consistently to ensurethat we have a commonly understood set of ProjectArtefacts.
  • Execution Workflow is being usedconsistently across Workstreams to ensure that we have common Unitsof Measure across the Project for measuringProgress.
  • Project TrackingFramework: Ensures that the Project TrackingFramework puts in place the necessary Project ManagementInformation that provides Project Leadership with granularinformation pertaining to:
  • Planned Progress ofDeliverables for a Project Phase.
  • ActualProgress of Deliverables for the same ProjectPhase.
  • Clear visibility ExecutionVariances.
  • Mitigation required to close theseExecution Variances.
  • ProjectQuality Framework: Ensures that the QualityFramework dictates the finite Quality Criteria that each Phase& Stage are required to comply with in order ensure thatthe Project Phases are commenced & completed in a mannerthat maintains the integrity of the Project CriticalPath:
  • Clear definition of Entry Criteria thatrequire to be met prior to the Project commencing a Project Phaseor Stage
  • Clear definition of Exit Criteria thatrequire to be met prior to the Project completing a Project Phaseor Stage
  • The Schedule of measurements thatrequire to be made throughout the Project Phase or Stage to provideclear visibility of incremental progress being made towards meetingthe Entry & Exit Criteria
  • Project FinanceFramework: Puts in place the Project FinanceFramework to ensure that the Financial Integrity of the Project ismaintained. Specifically this Frameworkdelivers:
  • Budget Formulation for each Phase ofthe Project
  • Incremental tracking of Actuals foreach Phase of the Project to date
  • Forecast& Cost to Complete for subsequent Phases of theProject
  • Project GovernanceFramework: Puts in place the overarching ProjectGovernance that will ensure that the Operations of the Project aretaking place in an effective & efficient manner with fullvisibility and mitigation of Risks & Issues and are in linewith delivering the Project Deliverables & Outcomes to therequired Time Cost & QualityCriteria.

  • Take full responsibility for theleadership and management of all AWS and SAP technical work streamsensuring that all personnel understand their roles and requirementsto ensure successful program roll out.
  • Overseeand drive change management and be a custodian of continuousimprovement regarding program and projectdelivery.
  • To identify and have a good workingrelationship with all stakeholders and business users involvedwithin the various projects.
  • To support andcoach team members through the program and projectprocesses.
  • Line management responsibilities forthe Lemongrass project team.
  • Overseeing andsupporting the wider Project Managers with quality gate processesto ensure that deliverables and the projects stay on track and tobudget ensuring business goals aremet.

  • Understandsand applies project tools: plans RAID Logs Change Request Logsetc..
  • Ability to keep teams focused on thedirect tasks and deliverables at hand
  • Establish& manage relationships with business managers and endusers
  • Ability to work across a multipledelivery engagements
  • Able to help shape andinput into our delivery approach ensuring we learn from eachproject harvest artefacts andknowledge
  • Selected applicant will be subject toa background investigation which will be conducted and the resultsof which will be used in compliance with applicablelaw.
